Garden Naked began with a simple idea: clothing should feel as natural as the life you’re living. What started as a search for pieces that could move from the garden to the beach—and still look right at dinner—has grown into a brand serving women everywhere.
We’ve learned along the way that versatility isn’t just about design—it’s about life. College classes, first jobs, career milestones, and quiet retirement mornings all deserve clothing that feels like you, fits your lifestyle, and respects the planet.

1985
The Beginning
We started in the early ’80s—long before outlet malls and discount chains dominated the market—bringing name-brand women’s clothing at discounted prices to stores across California and Arizona. Back then, shopping was personal. We built our reputation on value, style, and truly knowing our customers.
90's to 2024
Family
As the years passed, kids came along and everything changed. Wanting to be present for their childhood meant stepping back from the day-to-day demands of running physical stores. At the same time, economic shifts—rising retail competition, changing consumer spending habits, and the impact of big-box and fast-fashion chains—reshaped the market. Our decision to focus on family during this period also meant weathering these changes from the sidelines, adapting slowly rather than chasing trends. Business could wait—family couldn’t.
Jan 2025
Launch day
We’re excited to announce the relaunch of Garden Naked—this time, entirely online. The way we shop for clothing has changed, and new technology now offers more ways than ever to discover, try, and purchase pieces you’ll love.
But while our approach is evolving, our values remain the same. We still believe that exceptional customer service and genuinely caring about what women want will always drive our business.
